D-Contact 50 50 Roseyamame
D-CONTACT is a heavy sinking minnow that has revolutionized stream fishing. It is a minnow lure that achieves an "inertial slide" action and can be considered the pioneer of heavy sinking minnow lures.
The "D" in D-CONTACT stands for the density of the tungsten weight. which is 18 times higher than that of water. It ensures a weight of 4.5g for the 50mm model. 7g for the 63mm model. and 9.5g for the 72mm model. while maintaining an extremely thin body form. This results in incredible "distance power." "depth power." and "direction power."
Despite being the catalyst for the popularity of heavy sinking minnow lures. D-CONTACT's high level of completion has kept its competition at bay. and its popularity remains strong to this day.
1.Inertial slide transitioning to the slow-speed zone
This is a world that regular floating and sinking minnows do not have. In the case of existing minnows. they repeat the cycle of moving. stopping. moving. and stopping again with twitches. During the "stop" phase. they try to correct their posture with buoyancy (even sinking minnows have buoyancy to correct their posture) but they do not move forward. resulting in coming to a complete stop. Due to its own weight. D-CONTACT. however. advances while trying to correct its posture with the law of inertia. resulting in an inertial slide. Then it transitions to the slow-speed zone.
In the continuous cycle of movement. inertial slide. movement. and inertial slide. fish are lured by the "movement" and recognize the time in the slow-speed zone during the inertial slide with slowed speed as a chance to bite. This can be observed in the way birds and animals catch their prey.
2. It won't fly off even with a twitch during cross and down casts
Although the frequency of using down-cross and down casts is less than 10% in the style of fishing up the river. there are always situations where they are needed at some points. D-CONTACT was developed as a minnow for fishing by using upstream casts frequently and producing sliding actions such as twitching. darting. and jerking. However. if the emphasis is only on upstream casts. it becomes a lure without field perception. Although sinking minnows had weaknesses in reverse twitching due to their nature. D-CONTACT's potential remains unchanged up to up. cross. and down casts. There is no need to switch to a floating minnow during the down cast anymore.
3. Range control is possible
Due to its considerable weight. D-CONTACT falls quickly and can be used in deep waters. It can be used at various ranges depending on the retrieval speed. the interval between twitches. and the position of the rod tip.

It can be cast far
All three types of 50mm. 63mm. and 72mm have a slightly rear-fixed center of gravity. which allows for much longer casting distances compared to conventional lure sizes without wobbling. The benefit of its weight can be appreciated when casting against the wind.
5. Incorporation of appeal power
a. Visual appeal through shape changes
The thin body and "H" shape design are intended to create significant changes in the target fish's awareness through subtle rolling and wobbling. When viewed from below. the D-CONTACT appears thin. delicate. and weak. but its shape changes dramatically during rolling and wobbling. which draws the target fish's attention to the lure.
b. Unique reflection of light
Different holograms are embedded in the mask and body to create a strong presence underwater. The color lineup is designed to balance natural and attractor colors for practical use. For example. the TS and TS Laser have different reflection efficiency underwater. just like the Yama-me and Yama-me Laser.
c. Black ring and hook specification to enhance the lure's sparkle
The body has a black finish without any color. while the hook is designed for easy penetration.
