Ayra Medium is the medium version of the Ayra silicone lure from Boroda Baits, 90 mm long and weighing 7.5 g. In the manufacturer's entire line, this is one of the most versatile lures, suitable for catching any predatory fish, both in rivers and lakes. While at dam reservoirs, it proved ideal for catching zander or large perch, which is why it became my primary lure. In this version, Ayra also comes in a Double Color option, which will surely please those who like to experiment with colors.
The very soft silicone makes the lure very flexible, allowing it to be put into action with even the slightest movement, enabling the angler to showcase its unique action. It yields very good results when catching inactive fish. The design of Ayra creates an additional sound effect in the water, which affects the predator's lateral line, attracting its attention.
Remember to properly rig the AYRA so that the hook point is as close as possible to the beginning of the lure. The lure is valued by anglers for its unique construction and powerful effectiveness, especially when catching trout, chub, perch, and even zander. The best results are achieved when using ultralight jig heads weighing 2.0 - 6.0 grams.
