Larva XL is a silicone lure from Boroda Baits. It is an enlarged version, up to 40 mm, of the already beloved smaller 35 mm Larva. Now, the Larva XL will allow you to fish in more distant places that were previously inaccessible to the smaller Larva.
A special feature of the Larva XL is its curved shape, which makes the lure sway from side to side during retrieval, thus attracting predators. The upper part of the lure consists of soft ribs, which make the lure even more pliable. The Larva XL is perfect for delicate bottom fishing, a method that is one of my favorites.
Remember to properly rig the Larva so that the hook point is at the curve. This method will allow you to imitate a real larva. The lure is valued by anglers for its unique construction and powerful effectiveness, especially when fishing for trout. The best results are achieved when using ultralight jig heads weighing 0.5 - 2.0 grams.
